It is that time of year again, the "Battle of the NOAA Line Offices" Black history trivia game. Come see if Workforce Management can remain first place winners for the third year in a row. An exciting, fun, and educational event to celebrate Black History Month.

Keynote Speaker: Mr. Tony Chatman, international expert in human relationships, motivational speaker, and creator and host of The BluePrint Show. Welcome remarks by Director John Gray, NOAA's Office of Legislative Affairs. The program will also feature BIG's recognition of individuals for Distinguished Service to the NOAA and to BIG. Professional development training sessions in Career Enhancement and the Federal Application Process will also be offered. Cultural edutainment provide by the Lady Wildcat Steppers Drill Team, an all female step team originating from Montgomery County, White Oak Middle School.

Ethnic Vendor Show, vendors will have items such as perfumes, jewelry, gift baskets, accessories, and much more, door prizes. Proceeds to help sponsor NOAA employees attend the 2010 BIG National Training Conference, the Barbara Tobe Scholarship, and Send Your Child to Camp Programs.

NOAA BIG Chapter - Winner of 2010 Sterling Award
The NOAA BIG Chapter located in Silver Spring, Maryland, Region XI is the winner of the 2010 Sterling Award. NOAA BIG Chapter members recruited more than 20+ members within the past year. This esteemed award was presented by J. David Reeves, BIG National President, at the 32 nd Annual Blacks In Government Training Conference, Excellence In Government Service Awards and Recognition Banquet, August 20, 2010, in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Theresa Bannister-Scott accepted the award on behalf of the Chapter.
